Polyvore

If you’re into the fashion and/or designing world at all then you’ve probably come across a website called Polyvore sometime in your life. When I was in middle school in 2009 the website was used to create outfits and scenes for online books (*cough* fanfiction) but it’s developed and evolved a lot since then.

I’m writing about it now because for the past week I’ve been completely obsessed with it. Like, I’m not even over exaggerating here. I’ve been on it nonstop creating outfits for all different seasons and occasions. I kid you not my little sister came over to me yesterday and yelled at me for doing nothing but sitting on this website. It’s becoming a problem.

The reason it’s so cool is that the entire world is at your fingertips, literally every product, every clothing line, and every high or low-end designer. Nothing is off limits. Therefore the possibilities are endless and you can sit there for hours and hours making outfits until your hearts content. Which is what I’ve been doing. Oops.

Another plus is that everything listed on their website is linked to the actual store and it even gives you a price, making online shopping dangerously easy.
