Looking back on 2015 there is one person who has
been the most influential in my style. This person is Eleanor Calder. I’ve
talked about her before on my blog, but I’ll catch you up incase you don’t know
who she is. Eleanor is a 23-year-old Londoner who’s a graduate from the
University of Manchester with degrees in Sociology and Politics. She’s been in
the public eye since 2011, when she was 19, and from the beginning she’s been
killing it with her street style.
In the past year, Eleanor has been making strides in the fashion
world by starting a blog with model and best friend Max Hurd called The Trend Pear.
Along with the blog which covers current fashion trends and lifestyle
interests, she has made appearances at London Fashion Week and various launch
parties and was picked up by Kitten Agency earlier this year.
Eleanor's style is very minimalistic, which is something that I love about it. She knows how to take basic pieces and put them together in a way that looks chic and complimentary to her. I like how she knows what works for her and she uses that, while still taking risks with different cuts and shapes. To me, she gives off the vibes of being effortlessly chic and cool. Even her hair and make up reflects this trying without trying look by being kept simple and casually undone.
