Regardless on how you feel about the Kardashian and Jenner
clan there is one universal truth. They all have killer style. The one I always
come back to when looking for some inspiration is, of course, Kendall Jenner.
Her street style is probably one of my favorite things ever. She always has
such an incredible outfit on and it always looks incredible on her.
When I think of Kendall’s street style I think of
simplicity. Recently, I was talking about Kendall with one of my friends and
she said that Kendall’s style is very achievable for the average person. After
thinking about that for a minute, I realized that she was right. Kendall never
looks like she’s trying too hard or wearing too much or even too little. But
this doesn’t mean her outfits are boring. They are, in fact, much the opposite.
Kendall has mastered the art of minimalistic style and is, arguably, the queen
of it.
She doesn’t over glamorize her ensembles, which is something different from the celebrity normality. Don’t get
me wrong, her closet is still full of Gucci, Chanel, Saint Laurent and every other luxury
brand you can think of but the silhouettes of what she’s wearing are universal
and can be found at high street stores like Topshop or Zara.
I think this is one of the reasons why I, along with the
rest of the public, is so obsessed with her style.
You can find a lot of pieces that are influenced by Kendall’s closet at most
stores. Keeping this in mind you can 100% have a wardrobe that is influenced by
her. It’s achievable.
As for hair and makeup, Kendall always has it so natural and subtle, completing her minimalistic easy going nature.
One of the most important things we see with Kendall is
something that she wears when she’s on the catwalk or not. That is, we always
see her wearing her confidence (that was so cheesey I’m so sorry, I apologize immensely).
But really, she is, in my opinion, one of the most confident people in
Hollywood. I give her so much credit for always holding her head high and being
such a headstrong business woman after everything that her family has gone
through.
When I’m lacking confidence on certain days I always find
myself looking at pictures of Kendall or Cara Delevigene and taking note of
their confidence. And if you can’t find the inspiration, just fake it until you
make it. We all have our insecurities but we should learn how to own them
instead of letting them own us.
Here's how I would style a few sets inspired by Kendall:
I hope you guys have a great Saturday!
Love,
A. xx
